上期回顾
In the last seminar, we first focused on the analysis of tariffs on intermediate inputs. We discussed the conditions required for import tariffs to exert a positive effect on natural output and illustrated through numerical simulation that CPI targeting remains the monetary policy rule under which tariffs have the most contractionary effect. Subsequently, we extended the baseline model to the case of incomplete international financial markets.
本期预告
Our discussion extends the baseline analysis in two primary directions: (1) examining a more general form of preferences that departs from logarithmic utility, and (2) analyzing the case of sticky nominal wages.
